Registration & Networking: 9:30 AM – 10:00 AM
Social Media Primer: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
The objective is to familiarize businesses with the use and working of popular social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. You will learn how to post updates, create business profiles and perform searches on these platforms.
While the main focus will be on the two most active social networks Facebook and Twitter, other platforms such as YouTube, Quora and Pinterest will also be covered as per the requirements of the audience.
Group Activity Based on the Social Media Primer: 11:40 AM – 1:10 PM
Based on the learnings from the previous session, you will now create a dummy Facebook Business Page, Twitter profile and a LinkedIn Company Profile and post dummy updates.
Listening and monitoring conversations is an integral part of Social Media and hence you will also be introduced to various social listening tools such as Social Mention, HootSuite and Google Alerts. In case there are companies using internal communication channels such as Freshdesk and Zendesk, they will also be covered (time permitting).

Content Strategy For Your Business on Social Media: 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
In social media, great content is often what separates a successful company from an unsuccessful one. This session will enlighten you on the various methods and techniques for an effective content marketing strategy such as storytelling, design, brand personality and content planks.
Group Activity: 3:40 PM – 5:10 PM
The objective of this session will be to apply all the facets of social media learned in the previous sessions (from creating profiles to monitoring conversations to creating great content) and help your community engage with your brand.
By the end of this workshop, you will not only be enriched with insightful information but you will also have the practical knowledge to handle social media effectively for your company.
