Instagram Releases 5 New Filters After 2 Years

Instagram adds 5 new filters to its already existing filters after 2 years. The company rolled out a massive update to its Android and iOS app, along with the ability to rearrange how filters will appear within the app. Hence, users can sort filters as per their frequent usage and hide the ones they do not use at all.

The 5 new filters are -

1) Slumber

2) Crema

3) Ludwig

4) Aden

5) Perpetua

In all, the app now has 24 photo filters to choose from. Instagrammers can now add, hide and rearrange filters while posting pictures. The company has modernized the entire look of the filter page. It has updated the thumbnail icons users can see while picking a particular filter. Users will now see a blurred image of the photo they are about to post with every different filter.

To the end of the filter tray, users can find the new "Manage" setting that will allow them to quickly personalize where and how their favorite filters will appear in the Instagram app.

"Photography trends have evolved, and the capabilities of the camera on your phone have vastly improved" Instagram wrote in a blog post. "We’ve seen tremendous creativity within the community, not only in the moments they share, but in the time spent carefully composing and editing photos and videos to bring out emotions and make them beautiful."
