We’ve discovered how the dish of virality is not cooked with any precise ingredients and after the internet rage of Ice Bucket Challenge, it’s time for the Mannequin challenge.
To simplify, this challenge is a short video that showcases people standing in statue or mannequin position for about a minute. Someone films the entire scene, panning the camera through this motion-less, mannequin-like people.
Though this trend is slowly catching up at homeland, internationally it has already turned up, on celebrity Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts. Let’s take a look.
Rob Kardashian
Before the Kardashian’s welcomed another baby in their klan (pun intended), they aced the mannequin challenge. In the maternity suite where Blac Chyna gave birth to her and Rob Kardashian’s first daughter, baby Dream before the delivery filmed this challenge which was completed by Kris Jenner, Rob Kardashian and the heavily pregnant Blac Chyna herself.
Britney Spears
Completing the mannequin challenge to her own song, Piece of Me which got voted for ‘The Best of Las Vegas’ with her crew, the singer too joined the league to absolutely nail the challenge, sharing with us through her Instagram.
Kate Hudson and Courtney Cox
Is there a challenge Monica Geller can’t complete? Alongside American actress Kate Hudson, Courtney Cox with a huge party took the challenge and completed it. As Sarah Foster’s shared through her Instagram, it took them 86 takes to finally get it right.

Talk show queen, Ellen DeGeneres too joined the bandwagon when she stood there, still, with a ping pong bat in her hand and a ball right there.
