The 8th edition of the prestigious India Digital Awards presented by the Internet and Mobile Association of India, IAMAI, took place in New Delhi last week, on the 18th of January, 2018.
Coinciding with the India Digital Summit, more than 8 categories and 32 sub categories were awarded for their excellent work in the digital marketing industry.
iProspect India raked in the most number of awards with 7 wins at the IAMAI India Digital Awards 2018 including the silver trophy for the Digital Agency of the Year, whereas former Cricketer Virender Sehwag was declared the Social Media Person of the Year
Some of the categories under which the India Digital Awards 2018 were awarded by IAMAI were, Cyber Security, Digital Advertising, Digital Content, Digital Social & Economic Empowerment, Mobile & App, Payment & Fintech, Technology and Special Awards.
Here are the names of the winners who have begun the year on a stupendous note with their respective victorious outings at the India Digital Awards 2018 and the India Digital Summit.
Isobar India and Affle won the award Best Brand Awareness Campaign Using Mobile for their work with Mondelez India.
iProspect India’s work for ICICI Bank earned them the Best Data Driven Marketing Strategy award, whereas the agency also won the Best Lead Generation Through Mobile award for their work with HDFC Bank.
The Best Messaging Campaign award went to SVG Media (Columbus) who undertook the duties for UNICEF.

Reliance Jio won the Best Mobile Game for Marketing award.
For the Best Mobile Search Campaign, Interactive Avenues, who were also the recipients of the Digital Agency of the Year award, won for their work with Coca Cola.
Isobar India notched up another win under the Best Use of AR/VR in a Marketing Camapaign for Mondelez India.
Havas Media won the Best Digital Integrated Campaign for Philips Lighting India.
The Best Display Campaign award went to Interactive Avenues for Reckitt Benckiser.
SVG Media (Columbus) won the Best Email Marketing prize for Max Life Insurance, whereas the Best Viral Marketing Campaign award was captured by Shaadi.com.
Utopeia Communicationz claimed the Best Social Media Marketing Campaign for Reliance Fresh, and the Best Search Marketing Campaign winners were SingleInterface for their work with Ford India.
Razorpay were the Best Digital Payment Facilitator awardees, whereas PayTM were the Best Mobile Payment Product/Service.
Intap Labs’ work for Hello English was the winner for the Best Mobile App award, and the Best Mobile Website award was won by www.prokabaddi.com – STAR India.
Under the Traveltech category, Oyo Rooms were adjudged the winners, with Surmount Energy Solutions winning for IoT.
The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) were declared the Digital Person of the Year, while Unacademy won the Digital Start-up of the year.
