New Update
facebook dating

Seems like Facebook has finally rolled its sleeves to launch the coveted Facebook dating feature as it starts experimenting with the update.

The social media giant had announced about its plans to roll out the new dating app two months ago and has now confirmed about experimenting the development internally.

Jane Manchung Wong, a popular app researcher posted about testing on her Twitter handle.

Once the feature is rolled out you will have to build a different profile specifying your age, gender, location along with other personal data.

During the announcement, Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg had stated the purpose of boosting online dating, mentioning that the feature is going to be for building real, long-term relationships and not just for hookups.

While the social media giant already paves the way to build new relationships via messaging and taking the conversation forward with unknown users on the platform, after the roll out of Facebook dating you will officially be allowed to romance the interested person via the app- just like TINDER!

Well, launching a dating app is a smart move for the social media platform to increase the usage and make the best use of the data already available.
