Clubhouse has updated 'Interests', now called Topics, to make rooms and clubs based on a theme more easily discoverable, and the platform has also introduced thirteen new languages in their new phase of language localization.

Clubhouse has updated 'Interests', now called Topics, to make rooms and clubs based on a theme more easily discoverable, and the platform has also introduced thirteen new languages in their new phase of language localization.

Along with interest-based rooms being more discoverable, Topics followed by users will also be highlighted on their profiles so other users can go through their interests and connect with them. Users can also keep their Topics of interest private, and hide any of them.

Topics will be highlighted in more places so users can connect over shared interests ad find more relevant clubs, rooms, and profiles. This will be more extensive now, users will be able to find detailed topics on specific genres or themes such as a sports team, literary interests, genres of music, and more.

The updated Topics tab will display top search results, rooms, clubs, and profiles related to each Topic. Creators will be able to add topics while creating a room or when the toom is live. Topics are rolling out on both iOS and Android devices.

Furthermore, Clubhouse has introduced thirteen new languages on Android including Marathi, Bengali, Nepali, Arabic, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Farsi/Persian, Hausa, Igbo, Somali, Thai, Turkish, and Yoruba.
