About the Founder:
Radha, the CEO of Midas Touch, is a young and dynamic entrepreneur, is passionate about marketing and technology. A master’s degree holder in computers and law, her background in law helps her understand finer legal aspects. She has played a key role in patent writing and trademark filing for various software products. She helps businesses create a recognized brand and generate revenue by combining her business sense and state-of-the-art online marketing techniques. She has vast industry experience in the area of marketing wherein she has led highly creative marketing teams and defined successful go-to-market plans and strategies for multiple innovative, award-winning software products, services. She has very successfully launched multiple software products in global market with effective marketing and business-winning messaging. In past, she has also headed technical teams in software product development and engineering.
She has recently published an eBook “Are you Socially Shy?”. This book describes how businesses can get started with social media in a matter of few hours. With practical tips, suggestions and examples, this book makes a wonderful read and has been one of the best-sellers on Lulu, where it is available online for sale.
Apart from her own blog, Radha contributes articles to Technorati, YourStory.in and Social Media Club, Pune Chapter.
What’s in the name?
Everyone knows the story of King Midas, who is remembered in Greek mythology for his ability to turn everything he touched into gold. When we were thinking of a name, we wanted the name to specify the benefits our customers are going to get through our services and we believe Midas Touch says it all :)

Why we do it?
Radha has been in the sphere of digital marketing for more than 10 years. She has extensively used digital marketing to take multiple software products to global market.
When she started Midas Touch, she realized that there is tremendous scope for Indian businesses to leverage digital media to reach out to the worldwide audience but unfortunately Indian businesses have not fully exploited it. So Midas Touch started with an agenda to create more awareness about digital marketing. Today, while businesses have realized the importance of digital media and social media, it is about ‘how’ to use it effectively and leverage the existing tools and techniques. We are working with businesses to make them aware about the ‘effective’ use of digital media.
How we evolve?
We are evolving every day. The digital world is changing so fast that it is imperative for everyone to be adaptable to the change. Thanks to internet and the world of social media, everyone has an opportunity to learn continuously – through blogs, videos, podcasts and of course social media platforms. Connecting with like-minded people has become easier. To top it up, we are hopelessly curious and believe that you can learn a lot even simply by listening and observing what is going around you.

The need of the hour is development of social media culture in organizations. Instead of simply getting into ‘what can get more Likes on Facebook’ or ‘how can I increase followers on Twitter’, it’s high time that brands realize the true spirit of social media – which is in conversations, engagement, education, knowledge sharing and adding value.
Social media cannot be restricted to the marketing department. Companies really need to spend quality time and resources in imbibing the social media culture in the organization. It has to be in the DNA of the organization – followed by each and every person in the organization.

Be a trusted advisor and partner of the client. Don’t say ‘yes’ to all the suggestions of the client. It’s okay to sometimes say no. If you have a point of view which is different than the client, don’t hesitate to state that.
