Facebook recently announced few improvements to the photos section that make viewing photos more enjoyable.
See Bigger Photos
Now whenever you click ‘Photos’ at the top of your Timeline, you’ll see larger pictures filling up the page. You can use the menu to find shots you’re tagged in, pictures you’ve shared and albums you’ve created. This is quite a good improvement Facebook has come up with to improve the user experience. Photos are something that a lot of users update as frequently as their status. Compared to the previous photo viewing option where all the albums gets stacked and all the tagged pictures gets displayed separately, this change would bring a better photo viewing option to the users.
Showcase Photos You Like
Facebook has added another feature where it lets the users decide which photos they want to showcase in their Photo tab. With all your Facebook photos in one section, it’s simple to show your friends your personal favorites. All you have to do is to click the star button on the top-right of any photo to make it stand out from the rest.
Facebook is continuing to improve the user experience and this is feature is a step in the right direction. Don’t worry if you don’t find this in your Timeline, it would take some time to roll out for everyone but sooner or later you will have it.
