Facebook’s New Feature: Save For Later

Facebook is coming up with new features every other day and it seems difficult for the users to stay updated! Facebook recently came out with the Recommendation Bar, Page Manager App, Scheduling Posts, Find Friend Nearby (taken down in a day, should be out soon again) and now, Facebook is testing a new feature called Save For Later. This feature will let you add stories to a Saved folder, something on the lines of favorite tweets on Twitter. Its already live for iPhone and iPad app.

To save a story, long press any story on your timeline and a pop-up  saying “Save” will appear. On Facebook desktop, the Save option will be under stories next to Share, Comment and Like. Also, the other person wouldn’t receive any notification when you save any of their stories, which differentiates it from Twitter’s Favorites. You can now save any post/update on the move from your mobile app and read it later when you get time. Also, this wouldn’t really let the other person know if you’re stalking them ;)

Let us know what do you think about this feature in the comments section below.
