Facebook is all set to roll out a complete new look of its Newsfeed in the coming week. Facebook will showcase the newsfeed makeover at a media event on March 7 at its Menlo Park, California headquarters, as mentioned in an invitation to reporters on Friday.

"Come see a new look for News Feed,"

the invite reads. However, the press invite does not say anything about the mobile version.

According to Marc Zuckerberg, Newsfeed is one of the three important ‘pillars’ along with Graph search and Timeline. After introducing Graph search a couple of months ago which is still on its way trying to reach all its users and a new look of the Timeline for the users in 2012, now it is time for the Newsfeed to do a complete makeover.

Every new feature unveiled by Facebook has always received some criticism from its users. Be it first launch of Newsfeed in 2006 or Facebook Redesign in 2010 or Timeline in 2011. What so ever may be the change let us see if it is acknowledged or outraged.

After the last big event where Facebook launched its new Graph Search Feature, this will be the second high-profile event of the year.
