Facebook and Hero ISL give football fans a new way to support their club

Facebook is teaming up with the Hero Indian Super League to give fans a unique and engaging opportunity to cheer for their favourie football club on social media and other digital platforms.

Hero Indian Super League fans can now showcase their passion for the game and their loyalty towards their favourite clubs using Facebook's augmented reality camera. Fans can don the colors of their favourite team on their face using Facebook's state of the art 3D face masks.

The face masks, which can be applied to photos and videos will be available today to fans of all ten Hero ISL Clubs the world over. Fans of ATK, Bengaluru FC, Chennaiyin FC, Delhi Dynamos FC, FC Goa, FC Pune City, Jamshedpur FC, Kerala Blasters FC, Mumbai City FC and NorthEast United FC, can show their allegiance by using face masks which utilise Club colours and their anthem to give fans a distinctive opportunity to back their team.

The augmented reality masks on Facebooks were officially launched in India, thus becoming the first entity in the country to implement this technology on the social media platform.
