Instagram is testing a new sticker - Instagram Lyrics Stickers which would show lyrics to the songs playing in the Stories.
Instagram Lyrics Stickers was spotted first in the month of April, where the lyrics would simply appear on the screen alongside the music video.
Jane Manchun Wong recently reported an updated Lyrics Sticker UI. The refined UI has icons for each sticker style.
The introduction to music started with Instagram Music where you can search for music to add to your Stories according to the mood or your favorite genre.
You can take adding music to Stories to a new level by adding song lyrics, if this feature is released.
Although, the discrepancies might be available collection of lyrics. If Instagram rolls out the feature, either they would have to compile a library of music lyrics of various genres.
Or, we could see Instagram collaborating with platforms like Musixmatch or Genius, who already have an abundance of a large lyrics database.
Instagram has recently been working on Stickers frequently. In the month of May, they launched a donation Sticker in the US through which users can raise money for a nonprofit organization through their Instagram Stories.
Recently, they also have been testing a Join Chat Sticker, a way for users to join a private chat from Stories.
