Testing: Instagram may roll out new Story Camera UI

Instagram is testing a new Story Camera UI, the feature makes the platform look increasingly similar to Snapchat.

Recently, Social Media Code Hacker Jane Manchun Wong tweeted a screenshot of Instagram's new interface for Story Camera, which is still in the works. According to Wong, the new Story Camera UI will make Instagram 'look more and more like Snapchat'.

Netizens don't see as happy about the progress being made by Instagram, especially considering how the concept of stories is something that was popularised first by Snapchat. Instagram Stories were first introduced on the social media platform in 2016.

Reportedly, Instagram is also testing features like muted accounts and donation buttons. These features are expected to enhance the user experience, give users more control over their privacy settings and help build communities, both big and small.
