Fabindia won four metals at the third edition of Best Social Media Brand Awards & Summit and surfaces as the leading brand.
The awards night witnessed apparel brand Fabindia followed by Mukesh Ambani owned Reliance Jio, OTT major Amazon Prime video, The Viral Fever (TVF) sweep away more number of awards owing to their excellence in content marketing and insight-led campaigns.
FabIndia won four metals in all bagging one gold, two silver and a CMO of the year award which was conferred to Karan Kumar. It won gold in the Fashion category’s Apparel followed by two silvers in Best UGC/Co-creation and Best Use of Influencers (Fashion) respectively.
Reliance Jio, the company founded in 2007 not just broke the clutter but disrupted it, by taking over the majority of the market share of a sector that (due to established players)not many people aspire to take over, Telecom. It too emerged as the Best Social Media Brand in the Telecom sector by winning a Gold, two silver metals in Best Use of Memes and Best Social Media Brand- Moment Marketing.
Meanwhile, Amazon Prime Video took home two golds and one silver each in Best Use of Memes, Best Use of Social Media Platform – in this case, TikTok and Best Use of Branded Content and Creators respectively.
State Bank of India, Nykaa Cosmetics, Tata Sky, FilterCopy, Dell, GoAir are some of the other brands who have proved their mettle in the social media space and were awarded for their exemplary performance online.
