Commemorating the US President's visit to India, brands took it upon themselves to say Namaste Trump with social media creatives.
Donald Trump is here in India to have conversations and build bilateral ties. From visiting the Taj Mahal and Sabarmati Ashram with his family to attending the Namaste Trump event being held in his honour at the Motera Stadium, his trip is simple and yet iconic. This is the first time he is visiting the country, giving brands a topical trend to leverage with social media creatives. And, they did, saying, Namaste Trump.
Twitter has been buzzing with opinions and humour about the little details and tweets about the trip. This helped create a fertile ground for trends to come alive, along with memes. On the marketing front, most brands wished him a good trip with a focus on his meeting with the Indian Prime Minister.
