This year marked the beginning of the festive season like its 2019. People stepped out in abundance and the festive celebrations covered up for all that was dearly missed in the last two years. Brands too celebrated the season with Diwali campaigns 2022 that summarize the various aspects of this festive season.

In response to people's desire to go beyond the digital Diwali greetings and forwards, campaigns from brands such as Coca-Cola, Bergner, Haldiram's, vivo, Jindal Stainless, and more have emphasized qualities like togetherness and projected that meeting loved ones and making moments happy and brighter together is what they are looking forward to after the pandemic.

On the other hand, brands like Cadbury and HP enhanced the festive spirit by highlighting the significance of local artisans and stores. While HP urged the audience to create room for local artists to brighten up their celebrations, Cadbury assisted local hawkers in setting up a virtual shop by adding basic information onto the website and enabled them to continue their e-business, without the hassle of finding a new spot every day.

Brands like Manyavar and Sabhyata promoted ethnicity; Manyavar launched its #TaiyaarHokarAaiye campaign in an effort to encourage the younger generation to dress in Indian traditional attire during Diwali. Sabhyata increased awareness and encouraged women to challenge social norms.
