After 30+ years in the B-Town scene, Shah Rukh Khan has successfully become ‘The’ star on screen. Besides holding the on-screen persona of a King, SRK has established a grand mark with brand endorsements as well and campaigns featuring him reflect the actor’s charisma.
From Pepsi, Whirlpool, Nokia, Tag Heuer, Dish TV, LUX, Denver, Airtel, and now with Hotstar, brand SRK has shone brightly in a wide range of products. A favourite of the brandverse, SRK has been been a versatile ambassador for not just the Indian market but also globally.
Pepsi India leveraged their then brand ambassadors, Shah Rukh Khan and Sachin Tendulkar, to re-ignite the consumers’ trust after the pesticide controversy, with a quirky campaign. SRK has also played an integral role in establishing the Korean brand, Hyundai, in India. In fact, as of January 2022, the actor has been associated with Hyundai for 24 long years.
The actor himself has been credited with being an innovative marketer, known to keep aside a considerable budget for his movies for apt marketing. In line with his legacy as a marketer, on his 57th birthday, SRK dropped the teaser for his much-awaited movie ‘Pathan’.
His social media presence reflects his personality as he talks about his family and is always around cheering on the sidelines for upcoming stars and movies.
