Netflix’s Tara Kapur joins Duolingo as its Marketing Head
Tara Kapur joins Duolingo as its Marketing Head for India. She recently resigned from Netflix India.
Tara Kapur has joined the language learning platform Duolingo as its Marketing Head for India. Kapur took to LinkedIn to announce her movement.
She said, “Education and learning has always been something that I’ve been passionate about, and I’m so excited to be leading the marketing efforts for Duolingo English Test in India, and working closely with Jeffrey Tousignant, Carrie Wang and the rest of the incredible team at Duo!”
Jeffrey Tousignant is the Director of Marketing at Duolingo.

Previously, Kapur managed films and series marketing at Netflix India as its Co-Lead of Series Marketing.
Before Netflix, Kapur worked with Vice Media, Supari Studios, and Times Network. She’s also a founding member of Vitamin Stree, a content platform focused on empowering girls through storytelling and Supari Studios.
