BankBazaar.com has released a video which highlights the expectation of women from the Union Budget 2018.

The video showed women from different backgrounds and profession sharing their expectations from the Union Budget and hoping for some women friendly sops to help them. Some asked for more safety initiative, an allocation of not only a fund like Nirbhaya Fund, but making proper use of it. To also inform people and keep them updated of the use of these funds from time to time. Others pointed out the imposition of 12 percent GST on sanitary napkins to be ridiculous. Efforts should be made to make sanitary pads affordable and accessible to every woman in the country.

They hoped that the Union Budget goes easy on women trying to pay off housing loans independently.
A balance in tax between men and women owing to the huge disparity that exists between their salaries. All the women unanimously spoke on how they wish that the Government keeps Indian women in their mind before making new policies.
