Praxis Advertising and Micromax Arabia celebrate women's Nothing Like Anything spirit with three touching videos.

On International Women’s Day, Praxis, a 19 year old advertising agency in Dubai wanted to shed light on women of the region who have scaled new heights, made a change in the socio-economic fabric and motivated others with their grit & determination.

Being the Social Media guardians of Micromax Arabic page, Praxis had a great page where they could reach out to an even greater audience. The platform was used to celebrate International Women’s Day in the GCC by selecting few of the many distinguished women in the region and sharing their extraordinary stories with the world.

The initiative was pretty simple. Praxis shared stories of three women in video format, spread across three days. Each day they showcased the valor & success of these women who’ve achieved something nobody has achieved.

Starting with Nadine Du Tiot who started a mini revolution in Dubai by creating GloryGirl Fitness, a program aimed at making women physically stronger, not just lean and slim. It involved extreme activities like weight training, strength training, adventure obstacles and many arduous tasks.

The second video was about Palestinian-Canadian sisters Rania & Zaina Kannan, co-founders of

Chari Cycles which is a social enterprise. They sell custom-made cycles in the region, a range of

premium and robust products.

But what differentiates them from any other is that they give out one cycle to a needy kid in refugee camps across the region for every five cycles they sell. The cycle is not just a means for transport but the wings to their innocent dreams, the gateway to freedom & liberation.

The third story was most interesting, as it was about Suzanne Al Houby, who holds the distinction of being the first Arab woman to climb Mt. Everest. Known for her undying spirit and hunger for scaling new heights, the Palestinian has even scaled many summits like Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mont Blanc.

Apart from being an explorer and avid traveler, she is an environmentalist, humanitarian, and a mother of two kids!
