Instagram Explore gets revamped with interest based organisation

In Facebook’s F8 Conference, the company announced that they are revamping the Instagram Explore section on the feed for more interest based browsing experience.

With this update, the explore section will remain personalized but the content will be now organized into topic channels to let users browse according to their interest and go deep in their search.

As per the preview shared on the Instagram Blog, the updated explore section will have horizontally place scrollable tiles of each interest, below which will be the popular related hashtags that a user can follow.

The feature will make a user’s experience on the platform more personalized with content customized to match interest and taste. The update will definitely make Instagram browsing a lot more engaging and grasping.

A month ago, Instagram announced that they the algorithm for Instagram feed will also get some changes.
