Dhwani Bhatt who creates content around DIY projects, Room Decor, Fashion videos, and more is here to share some divulgences.

Glance through to know the weirdest brand brief she has received, tips for upcoming bloggers, and more. Take a look at Dhwani Bhatt, up close and candid.

Looking back, where did it all begin?

I attended the first YouTube FanFest in 2014 and met a few of my favorite creators, both Indian as well as international. Looking at how simple and down to earth they were, gave me the confidence that even I can do this. I gave my graduation exams and started my YouTube channel right after that.

What's in the name?

Like you can see it's my name, I wanted people to know me by my name and nothing else.

What is your USP in this cluttered space? How does your content give you an edge?

I am very real with my audience. No matter what the situation, I make sure I let them know the truth. In this age, where many people are promoting perfection, some of us need to let them know that insecurities are normal, acne is normal, cellulite is normal, body hair is normal. My audience sees me without makeup, chilling in my PJs, eating my favorite noodles and they can relate to it.

Please take us through your content creation process. How do you stay relevant and relatable?

I try my best to create content around things that are trending. If there's a festival coming up, I'll make content around it. I do a lot of hauls and I make sure the things I buy are affordable because most of my audience are students. They cannot afford to buy luxury products right now. I try to show them different ways they can look good, under a certain budget.

How do you make moolah with your efforts?

Thanks to Google AdSense. We YouTubers do earn from the ad views we get. Other than that, sponsored posts keep us going.

How do you maintain editorial objectivity with the influx of brand briefs?

Most brands do give us the creativity to make content, which our audience will like. I integrate the brand in a way which isn't too loud, but at the same time, it's present and accessible. I make a video around it which I think my audience will watch.

I also ensure quality over quantity with whatever deals that come in for me.

One instance/experience that made it all worthwhile

Not one but many! Meeting my internet family in real life #Dhwanicorns, just makes it all worth it. I have seen girls cry and tell me how inspired they are from my work. Making people happy is my ultimate goal.

Weirdest brand brief/request ever

I got a brand which wanted me to promote bum cream which lightens, firms and moisturizes the bum.

If not blogging, you would be?

I did my graduation in Law, so I would definitely be a lawyer.

A day in your life....

Well! I have already made a detailed video about it but it's about good food and being productive.
