This year, Christmas campaigns reignite the holiday spirit encouraging people to be in touch with families and strangers alike.

Christmas post-Covid doesn’t feel very festive, does it? Well, not if you add a touch of kindness to it. This seems to be a theme in this year’s Christmas marketing strategies. The festive campaigns have rolled in with the spirit of Christmas and are largely focused on reminding people of the difference kindness makes on people’s mental well-being.

Covid-19 has had a significant impact on people’s mental health and has left them lonely. Advertisers have created their brand messaging according to it. While most of the Christmas campaigns have seen families reuniting, there are a few that highlight people feeling lonelier than ever.

W & V’s festive campaign shows a teacher caring about everyone’s well-being while not having anyone do the same for him. The brand has highlighted a simple ‘How are you?’ can make people feel better. The National Lottery takes a romantic approach and shows two strangers meeting on a train and the hurdles faced by them to see each other again. All of the campaigns focus on reigniting the spirit of Christmas with kindness, love and families coming together.

Here are a few of the heart-touching Christmas campaigns of 2022 that will leave you feeling emotional.
