Twitter signed an exclusive deal with Indian advertising firm Komli Media to handle southeast Asia Ad Sales. Headquartered in Mumbai, Komli Media is a Asia Pacific’s leading real-time digital technology platform.
Komli Media will manage all Southeast Asia Ad sales. It will help expand the availability of Twitter’s Promoted Products suite of advertising products to marketers in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines.
In addition, Komli will hold a series of training programs for agencies and large advertisers across Southeast Asia in order to develop the regional market for Twitter and its Promoted Products.
The company will also keep a specialized sales team for Twitter’s advertising products: Promoted Tweets, Promoted Accounts and Promoted trends which are currently unavailable to Asian markets. These products have been available in the United States, United Kingdom, Japan and Latin America market only.

It is interesting to note that Asia Pacific consists of the world’s fastest growing economies and media advertising markets. Within that, digital advertising is the fastest growing form of advertising, and is set to grow at 30-50% a year for the next 10 years.
