LinkedIn Hits 300 Million Users Worldwide

In an announcement earlier today, the leader in professional social networking revealed that it now has more than 300 million registered members worldwide!

Out of these 300 million, almost 200 million reside outside the US and it sees an average of 15 million profile views, 1.45 million job views and 44,000 job applications worldwide.

The announcement also shared LinkedIn's vision to reach out to all the 3.3 billion people who are a part of the global workforce and make them a part of LinkedIn's family. Powered by its offerings and features such as LinkedIn Influeners, Slideshare & Pulse, it hopes to realize this dream sooner.
