Ekalavya Bhattacharya, Head of Digital, MTV India, states that the communication part of social media should be handled by the brand itself. He encourages this considering the fact that people who ‘live the brand everyday’ are the right people to handle this.
He also mentions that an agency manager who belongs to an outside agency, may lack the passion for the brand which an in-house guy may have.
