Ankur Warikoo, Head APAC Emerging Makers, Groupon India, says that the brand has not done any campaign exclusively for social media. He says that they have not used social media as a stand alone medium. He believes that social media acts as a complimentary medium for their existing business.

They have launched the campaign on their websites and replicated it as a theme/concept on social media. He talks in detail about ‘The Onion Campaign’ and how they got 25 % of their engagement from social media.
