Iksula appoints Sayan Banerjee as Business Head, Online Marketing

In his new role, Sayan will look at providing Digital Marketing Solutions to the clients hiring eRetail services from the Iksula Group. He will be reporting in to Samarjeet Singh, CEO and Co-Founder, Iksula.

Prior to joining Iksula, Sayan was with iProspect where he led business development and client relationships.

An MBA from IIM, Kolkata, Sayan has more than 14 years of experience in digital marketing, strategic planning, Business development and product management.

Confirming the appointment, Samarjeet Singh quoted, “We are happy to have an experienced campaigner like Sayan on board with us. We have been looking to fill this position for some time now, We have a very strong presence in the eRetail and eCommerce Domain, and Sayan’s appointment, will make us only grow stronger. Earlier, we had consolidated our Technology team with Khalid Reza joining us as Vice President & Head of Tech Delivery. Going ahead we see a lot of potential for growth in the eRetail Market.”

Sayan is known to be one amongst the few digital professionals, with nearly a decade’s experience in online marketing. In the past, amongst other stints, Sayan has worked with HSBC where he worked on channels’ marketing and digital to increase the contribution of digital as a channel to the overall business.

Accepting his new role, Sayan said, “I am excited about my association with Iksula, a leading eRetail Strategy and Implementation entity in the country providing complete digital solutions for brands and retailers. I look forward to being able to contribute to the growth story at Iksula Group.”
