Snapchat throws a Birthday Party for you with its new lens

Snapchat recently rolls out a bang new lens to make your birthdays a little more special. The lens titled Birthday Party provides you with two filters to be used on your birthday, one of it can be used for a friend’s birthday while sending them a snap.

Snapchat also goes ahead by putting an emoji of a cake next to the name of the person in the friend-list celebrating their birthday, thus reminding you of their special day. The fleeting photo sharing application also plans to update the time filter allowing users to tap it and get the date instead of time.

One can avail these features once the birth date is entered in the settings of the app. This feature sure elevates the already present engagement amongst the users, additional making exchange of birthday wishes amusing.

This feature will offer enticement for users who restricted themselves from providing their birthdates while signing up. Birthday Party will be available for all Snapchat users using iOS and Android update.
