One of the leading distance education institutes in the country, Talentedge extended a helping hand to men and women from the Armed Forces to continue their education with special scholarship programs.

Objective

Shaurya scholarship that aimed at creating new footprints of knowledge in the lives of service men commenced on January 23, 2017, with the online campaign kicking off on February 1st.

Execution

Paying tribute to the soldiers, Talentedge created a short video that attempted to humanize soldiers who are often perceived as tough warriors by portraying them as husbands, fathers, and sons with needs.

Talentedge rolled out a Twitter contest to promote #ShauryaScholarship, offering participants a chance to win an all expense paid trip to the Wagah Border.

Questions were asked around the campaign video, and worked wonders for the brand on Twitter.

Results

Talentedge’s #ShauryaScholarship contest delivered more than 10 million impressions on Twitter with a reach of around 2.5 million.

The Twitter contest helped #ShauryaScholarship trend nationally and in major cities such as Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Nagpur, and Ahmedabad for more than 3 hours.

The tribute video has garnered 160,890 views to date, helping Talentedge promote #ShauryaScholarship on Twitter.
