Samir Bangara, Co-Founder & Managing Director at Qyuki Digital Media passed away in a road accident today (June 14, 2020).
According to reports, Samir Bangara passed away in a car accident. He had co-founded Qyuki Digital Media - a creator-focused media company, along with AR Rahman and filmmaker Shekhar Kapur.
He began his career in venture capital with IL&FS Venture corporation, thereafter he experienced a stint as an investment banker, he then joined Indiagames in 2005.
Before co-founding Qyuki, Samir Bangara had also been the Managing Director(Digital) at The Walt Disney Company India (Disney UTV) in 2012.
Several personalities from the Music & Film Industry such as Vishal Dadlani, Ronnie Screwvala, Tarun Katial, Armaan Malik, mourn the loss and share condolences through Twitter.
