Friendship Day 2021 Campaigns: Bond of creativity & brand integration


Ingenious ideas to celebrate Friendship Day 2021 in the midst of a pandemic have been tapped by brands with campaigns and social media posts, implanted with a product identity.

With increasing physical distance due to the pandemic-induced lockdown, social media has played an important role in keeping everyone in touch (virtually), and brands too united to create campaigns and social media posts attempting to further reduce this distance with Friendship Day 2021 campaigns.

CEAT Tyres and Royal Enfiled together created a campaign advocating the spirit of passion in friendship. McDowell’s No.1 made a comeback with a song that emphasizes its motto of Yaari likewise continuing their umbrella content property of No. 1 Yaari’ which is revisited with topical themes and the broader notion of celebrating friendship. The song has been composed by Sameer Uddin, with lyrics written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and is sung by Abhishek Nailwal.

What is friendship without a long conversation over a cup of tea or coffee and to showcase this Society Tea celebrated the day with a sweet note – “Ye dos-tea hum nahi todenge”. Durex India carried forward its legacy of witty word play, while Lay’s India took a colorful route.
