Brendon Sissing becomes Head of Sales & Marketing at Mercedes-Benz India

Prior to his role in India, Sissing held leadership positions at Mercedes-Benz Malaysia and Mercedes-Benz South Africa, where he headed Credit Operations and national sales.

Mercedes-Benz India has announced the appointment of Brendon Sissing as Vice President, Sales & Marketing, effective 1 August 2025. Sissing will succeed Lance Bennett, who has moved to Mercedes-Benz Middle East as Chief Financial Officer.

Brendon brings rich experience from the world of financing and insurance, as he successfully steered Mercedes-Benz Financial Service India, doubling its portfolio, driving record profit and business transformation, while elevating the integrated customer journey. We are confident Brendon will continue the growth momentum of Mercedes-Benz in this highly diverse, and dynamic Indian luxury car market. Sissing currently leads Mercedes-Benz Financial Services India, where he has overseen significant portfolio expansion and business transformation efforts. His work has focused on digitisation, integrated customer journeys, and operationas, including a strong emphasis on risk management and stakeholder value.

Prior to his role in India, Sissing held leadership positions at Mercedes-Benz Malaysia and Mercedes-Benz South Africa, where he headed Credit Operations and national sales. His responsibilities spanned the creation of risk frameworks, policy implementation, digital process optimisation, and legal contract development. He also worked with Daimler Mobility AG in Stuttgart in Credit Underwriting and Key Accounts.

Sissing began his association with the company at Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, where he contributed to sales strategy and operational setup. He played a key role in the establishment of Mercedes-Benz Services Malaysia Sdn Bhd in 2012.

He holds a B.Tech in Cost & Management Accounting from Technikon Pretoria in South Africa and a Diploma in Credit Management from the Institute of Credit Management. He has also completed various international leadership programmes.

Brendon Sissing is a South African national with professional experience across Malaysia, South Africa, Germany, and India. He is a rugby enthusiast and enjoys travelling with his family.
