Gaurav Rajput joins BCCL as Chief Marketing Officer

In his new role, he will lead marketing efforts across the company’s portfolio of publications, with a focus on brand strategy and positioning.

Gaurav Rajput has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer at Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. (The Times of India Group). In his new role, he will lead marketing efforts across the company’s portfolio of publications, with a focus on brand strategy and positioning.

Rajput brings more than two decades of experience across leadership roles in India, Southeast Asia, and the UK. Prior to joining BCCL, he served as Managing Director and Global Head of Corporate & Investment Bank Marketing at Standard Chartered Bank, where he oversaw marketing initiatives across several countries.

Earlier in his career, he was part of the Country Management Team for India and South Asia at Standard Chartered, where he led brand campaigns, social media engagement, and CSR programmes, and managed relationships with key industry bodies.

Rajput has also held senior leadership positions at IDFC Bank, where he was part of the founding executive team responsible for building the marketing and communications function, and at Cigna TTK, where he was involved in corporate strategy, marketing, product development, and regulatory engagement.

He holds an MBA in Marketing from the Welingkar Institute of Management.
