Khatija Lokhandwala

Khatija Lokhandwala has announced her departure from Zivame after a tenure of five and a half years, where she served as Head of Brand Marketing. She shared the news in a LinkedIn post earlier today.

“Zivame wasn’t just a workplace. It was a front-row seat to change. I got to witness — and shape — the transformation of a brand, a category, and in many ways, a culture,” she wrote.

Lokhandwala joined Zivame in August 2019. Over the course of her tenure, she was associated with several campaigns aimed at reshaping consumer narratives around lingerie and body image. “We didn’t just sell lingerie. We challenged taboos, rewrote narratives, and helped women feel seen, heard, and celebrated,” she added, referencing initiatives such as the Museum of Boobs and inclusive packaging copy.

Before her stint at Zivame, Lokhandwala held senior brand leadership positions across multiple FMCG brands. She was Senior Brand Manager – Confectionery Portfolio at INBISCO for nearly two years, and served as Group Product Manager at Jyothy Laboratories for over two years. Prior to that, she spent close to seven years at CavinKare, where she led marketing for categories such as talcum powder, fairness creams, and food products.

In her post, Lokhandwala also reflected on the people and culture that shaped her journey. “What I’ll carry with me most are the people. Teammates who became sounding boards, cheerleaders, co-conspirators, and friends. Leaders who gave me room to question, create, and grow,” she said.

While details of her next professional move are yet to be announced, Lokhandwala signed off with, “As I turn the page to a new chapter, I carry forward everything this one gave me — and then some. Here’s to bold ideas, braver choices, and building brands that matter.”
