Lokal app names Sagar Panda as Regional Head – Digital Business for West & North India

Sagar Panda has joined Lokal App as the Regional Head – Digital Business for the West and North India markets. He brings nearly two decades of experience in media and advertising, with a focus on integrated digital media sales, branded content advertising, and business development.

Prior to this role, Panda was associated with Sakal Media Group, where he led the regional business for the West and South regions. He announced his new role at Lokal App via a LinkedIn update.

Over the course of his career, Panda has held leadership positions at organisations such as Zee5, Zee Entertainment, The Hindu Group, India Television, Network18 (News18), and Dalal Street Investment Journal. His previous role at Zee5 was as Associate Director – Growth & Partnership.

His areas of expertise include advertising, display and programmatic ad sales, native content sales, sponsorship-driven IPs, concept selling, direct sales, and revenue forecasting. In addition to sales, Panda has also been involved in team management and has a track record of consistently meeting revenue goals across both traditional and digital media platforms.
