Shubhranshu Singh has stepped down from his role as Vice President and Head of Marketing for Tata Motors’ Commercial Vehicles (CV) business unit, concluding a four-year tenure with the company. His exit marks the end of a period during which Tata Motors CV undertook several brand-building and digital transformation initiatives under his leadership.
Singh confirmed the development, stating, “I have had a fantastic stint of four years at Tata Motors and am thankful to the team for lifting the brand, in all its facets, to new heights. At this stage, external opportunities are presenting a way to doing new, disruptive things. I am excited about the future.”
During his time at Tata Motors, Singh was responsible for establishing a dedicated marketing structure for the CV division and led campaigns including the ‘Better Always’ repositioning. He also oversaw product launches, brand-led digital engagement strategies, and the company’s entry into the electric commercial vehicle segment.
Before joining Tata Motors, Singh held senior roles at Royal Enfield, Star TV Sports, Visa, and Diageo. He has also served on industry bodies such as the News Broadcasters & Digital Association and is currently a member of the Effie Lions Foundation board.
Singh has not yet announced his next move.
