Spikes Asia 2025 jury announced, 10 Indian leaders among global members

Spikes Asia has unveiled its 2025 Jury line-up, showcasing a diverse mix of industry leaders from across Asia-Pacific. Among the standout contributors are ten jurors from India, each bringing unique perspectives from various sectors.

The Indian contingent is led by Kainaz Karmakar, Chief Creative Officer at Ogilvy India, and Ashish Chakravarty, Executive Director & India Head of Creative at McCann Worldgroup, who will chair the Design and Industry Craft, and Audio & Radio, Film, Print & Publishing categories, respectively. These seasoned professionals are joined by eight other influential figures from India, whose work spans multiple domains of creativity.

Commenting on the inclusion of Indian jurors, Mandy Neo, Director of Spikes Asia, stated, "The Indian jurors bring an unmatched depth of experience and creativity. Their diverse insights are crucial in shaping the future of advertising and marketing in Asia-Pacific."

Karmakar, who is no stranger to high-profile campaigns, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, "Being part of the Spikes Asia jury is an honour. It’s exciting to see how the region is evolving creatively, and I’m thrilled to witness the groundbreaking work that will be recognised."

Chakravarty added, "Spikes Asia serves as a benchmark for creativity in APAC, and I’m eager to evaluate the entries with my fellow jurors. It’s an excellent platform for innovative ideas to gain recognition."

This year marks a significant milestone with the inclusion of Mongolia’s first-ever representative, Bilguun Munkhjargal, Founder of Whyze, who will serve on the Audio & Radio, Film, and Print & Publishing Jury. Munkhjargal shared his excitement, stating, "It’s an honour to represent Mongolia, and I look forward to exploring the innovative work emerging from across APAC."

Simon Cook, CEO of LIONS, acknowledged the value of such diverse representation, saying, "The broad range of perspectives from brands, agencies, and platforms ensures a rich and varied discussion, which is vital in setting the creative standard for the region."
