Bollywood superstar and the original Angry Young Man of Indian cinema, Amitabh Bachchan, is on Facebook now. This is in addition to his blog and his highly active Twitter account.
He will be using the page to give up-to-date information of his personal and professional life. In his own words, "You'll be getting to know more about me, my daily activities and where I go, what I do... through this wonderful medium."
Announcing his arrival on Facebook through Twitter, he said:

Welcoming his Facebook fans through a video, Mr. Bachchan said:
The way the digital world is going is just unbelievable. And I thought that I would use Facebook to connect with all my well-wishers yet again. You have been with me on the blog and Twitter, and here is another convenience that is now going to connect us even further.
It is really great to see how social media has brought us closer to people whom we once thought to be unreachable. And in this case, one of Bollywood's iconic legends.
