Unmisha quit as Deputy General Manager, Bajaj Electricals and has joined Tonic Media as Director,Global Strategy. She will be responsible for driving expansion of Tonic Media in new markets and also strengthen planning, research and strategy for existing and new clients of the agency. She will focus on integrating digital effectively with clients overall communication mix leveraging her experience of Integrated Brand Communication across various brands like Ponds, Tata Sky, Kotak and others.
Unmisha joined Bajaj Electricals in September 2010 where she was responsible for advertising and brand development across 3 Consumer facing Business Units. She has comprehensive experience of 12 years in Branding, Corporate Communication and Integrated Brand Communications across all consumer touch points. Her specialities include understanding consumer behaviour, defining brand essence and developing communication strategy accordingly. Her planning and strategic knowledge will add value to following a scientific approach towards digital communication.
Prior to Bajaj Electricals, Unmisha was working with Ogilvy & Mather communications as Client Servicing Director. She has worked on brands like Tata Sky, Ponds Age Miracle and was responsible for integrated communication for driving brand preference in the DTH category. She has worked on successful and award winning campaigns like Actve English, Tata Sky, and Ponds Age Miracle. She has worked in Leo Burnett’s Activation arm and handled Brand Activation and led many events and on ground properties with Brands like Parachute, Anchor toothpaste, IDA, amongst others.
Unmisha has a degree of Post Graduation in Business Management with a specialization in Marketing from N.L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies & Research in 2003. She started her career with Reminiscent India Television Ltd.
