Father’s Day campaigns 2019 are here to mend the love for the real superhero in our lives.

This year observed a number of long-form adverts and strong stories coming out.

Apart from being the cool parent and saying yes, whenever your mom said no and nurturing you till you got on your feet, there are multiple roles that fathers play. Brands tapped on most of them.

Usha pointed the lifelike notion that while your father may be working hard at his business, to support your passion, his real passion may be playing the flute. But, he sacrificed his passion so you can continue with yours. The advert inspires to gift the fathers, the tools to pursue their passion.

Thomas Cook came out with a hefty narrative & a substantial brand connect. They also tapped two topical trends with a balance of keeping Father’s Day in focus and sidelining ICC #CWC19. Abraham Alapatt, President, Group Head – Marketing, Service Quality & Innovation, Thomas Cook (India) Ltd. said, “The new wave of father-child bonding trips is a significant opportunity for our brand. Through our campaign #CricketDateWithDad, we aim to focus on the sentiment shared by father and child”.

SBI Life Insurance took the musical road with the singer Shaan yodeling his formula of being a Papa. Ravindra Sharma, Chief of Brand and Corporate Communication, SBI Life said, “Mera Papa Formula as a concept leverages technology to take fathers on a journey for self-discovering their ‘Papa Formula’ and sharing it with loved ones through music.”

Bajaj Allianz makes us notice the sad reality of people not making time for their fathers as they grow up and dwell on the busier side of life. Chandramohan Mehra, Chief Marketing Officer, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance says, “#UnMissableMeeting is aimed at engaging with millennials and celebrating those special father-child bonding moments, often neglected in pursuit of individual Life Goals”.

Star Sports threw a humorous taunt on Pakistan with their #FathersDay campaign by calling India their ‘Baap’. Amazon India, on the other hand, portrays fathers, as they are, with children.
