LinkedIn introduces Articles for Pages

While LinkedIn has had the functionality to post and publish long-form textual content, with the new functionality Articles, users will be able to engage their audience with long-form articles without leaving the app or a character count limit.

With Articles for Pages, LinkedIn users can also insert media and highlight quotes in their in-depth content, and they will also be able to initiate call-to-action like follow the Page, redirect them to a website and external platform, or download a resource.

Detailed insights about the readers and their firmographics and users interacting with this content would also be available to the Pages publishing these articles.

While users on LinkedIn are frequently engaging with in-depth content that explains a terminology or a new digital asset about to take over the metaverse, the platform mentions they're less likely to leave the app to a different website to read an article.

Catering to this gap between readers on LinkedIn and informative long-form content, Articles for Pages, the in-app feature intends to draw readers to reliable content, and enable Pages to build their community.

Furthermore, one of the top-requested features, the ability to schedule LinkedIn Live and LinkedIn Events has been launched by the platform. Users will be able to sponsor their stream in advance to a targeted audience, and the event registrants and a set of Page followers will receive automated notifications, and the public Live Event post would be able to garner views irrespective they've selected 'Attend' or not. Live Event content can also be shared or replayed after it ends.
