JioCinema garners concurrent viewership of 2.5 Cr during CSK v/s GT IPL match

The Chennai Super Kings vs Gujarat Titans match on Tuesday has clocked the highest-ever concurrent viewership on JioCinema, as the final overs of the second innings of the IPL match saw the concurrent viewership on JioCinema touching 2.5 Crore viewers.

This viewership for the IPL match on JioCinema is now a world record for the most number of concurrent viewers. The previous viewership record on JioCinema is 2.4 crore, registered during the CSK versus RCB match on April 17.

JioCinema has been streaming IPL matches free of cost for all viewers. In terms of engagement, the platform continues to grow viewership with the elevating interest of viewers drawn toward the conclusion of the season. The total video views on the platform have crossed over 1,300 crore video views, setting a world record. 

The streaming app has been adding millions of new viewers for IPL on a routine basis, and the average streaming time per match per viewer has crossed 60 minutes.
