Dentsu completes its acquisition of Aegis and establishes The Dentsu Aegis Network. On 1st January 2014 both the companies combined to form the Dentsu Aegis Network. Together they form a global communications network in the digital age, functioning across 110 countries with over 22,000 dedicated specialists.

Rohit OhriRohit Ohri will lead the Dentsu agency brand across the rest of the region, Asia Pacific South, as the CEO. Ashish Bhasin has been appointed CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network, South Asia.

As part of Dentsu Inc., Dentsu Aegis Network  is a global communications network in the digital age which will be headquartered in London. Carat, the Dentsu agency brand, iProspect, Isobar, Posterscope and Vizeum will work together for the first time under the operating model of one P&L per country alongside growing multi-market specialists and local brands. 

The Dentsu Network and Aegis Media will continue to operate as separate entities but they will be governed by the Dentsu Aegis Network Management Team and Board of Directors.

The Dentsu Group has formulated an action plan that will lead to an enhanced revenue structure and competitive advantage through the synergies derived from integrated product offerings and collaborative business development. Going forward, the Group will continue to invest in its business and make acquisitions that will drive further growth.
