Tripti Lochan, Chief Executive Officer VML Qais, today announced the promotion of Preethi Sanjeevi to Chief Marketing Officer, a role newly created in line with the agency’s continued expansion.
As part of the new role, Sanjeevi will assume responsibility for the marketing function across the region, including strategic partnerships and alliances, agency visibility, leveraging cutting edge Generation Asia research plus internal and clients events such as Digital Way Forward. She will also support the VML Qais India team as the offering there continues to strengthen.
Commenting on the appointment, Lochan said, “We’re delighted to announce that Preethi is going to take on this new challenge as we grow – that of CMO for VML Qais. Phenomenal growth in the past two years has seen VML Qais expand both geographically, from Singapore to India and Indonesia, as well as capability wide across strategic planning, platforms and technologies.”
Preethi Sanjeevi has been part of the VML Qais from 2006 onwards, this is her eighth year with the agency. Coming from an arts entrepreneurship background, she has in her years of work with VML Qais, grown, led and managed a successful pan regional business team. She has led teams which have defined digital strategy for several brands including Dell, 3M, Banyan Tree, Vodafone, Revlon & Shiseido.
She is also a crucial part of the team which launched and developed Generation Asia, the region’s most extensive attitudinal study into the hearts & minds of the connected Asian. Sanjeevi led the team and was involved in the conceptualization, design and insights development of the research.
