Instagram revamps with detailed features – Color & Fade

Instagram rolled out color and fade features on Android devices. The features are additional to the existing effects that the app offers.

Color helps in adjusting the tone of highlights and shadows of the image. The images can be tinted in yellow, orange, red, pink, purple, blue, cyan and green colors as of now.

Fade on the other hand dilutes the impact of colors in a picture – giving a bold and more dramatic effect.

Additionally, Instagram is looking at increasing the sharability quotient with its new post notifications feature. Post notifications will allow you to follow accounts of your choice closely, by sending a notification every time something is new is published by that user.
