Who are we?
We are Capsicum Mediaworks, a creative agency based out of Mumbai, which is good at all things Digital. Founded by Nirav Dave & Shailendra Dave in 2009,we started out as a 2 member company and today have grown into a 20 member team since then.
Our team comprises of a bunch of very creative and dedicated web designers, developers, content writers, SEO specialists & online strategists all of whom are driven by the same ideal. Innovation, hard work and creativity are the keys to success and client satisfaction.
What’s in the name?
We wanted a unique name for our company, however at the same time, needed something that would have an immediate recall value. We didn’t want people to forget our name because it was too complicated. That’s why Capsicum was chosen out of a few names we shortlisted! The idea behind “Mediaworks” was to come up with something which would represent all our services.

The web industry has grown exponentially in the past decade, with all major and minor businesses having a web presence in some form or the other. From social media to highly interactive websites, the digital world has so much more to offer in today’s times, that it would be unwise to tap into its potential by any brand. Moreover, we also believe in keeping a tab on the latest developments in the industry, in order to remain up to date with our services. Following this ideology, we have already expanded our range of services, and intend to continue adding more in the coming years to evolve as a full service digital house.
Social responsibility in social media
When it comes to social media, our approach is simple- Use it cleverly and judiciously to get through your target audience. We don’t believe in taking shortcuts while devising any social strategies.
Instead, we take all the necessary insights from our clients and then, accordingly develop a suitable, long term strategy that is based on sharing relevant and engaging content with their target audience, and not on creating content that is temporary and fragile for the sake of grabbing attention.
Need of the hour
With about 60% of people accessing internet on their mobiles, it is imperative that the brands pay close attention to their digital assets. Responsive websites, functional Mobile Apps & any other form of content provided by the brand through digital as a touch point, needs to be delivered with the same brand promise as all its other means of communication. Industry as we foresee
With the growing internet population and India set to become the largest internet using country in the world, social media will become even more prominent as a platform to share, interact and create content in the coming years. With improved digital innovations, social media will immerge out to be the leading form of advertising and marketing with influencers gaining more importance in advocating brands and creating content. The industry is moving to a stage where social media users will be divided into two kinds of users. On one hand you will have the content creators and on the other, the content consumers. Brands will become more interested in participative content creation opportunities appealing to the other half and reaching out to them through influencers/content creators.
While most of the brands today use digital & social media to support it’s mainline campaign the future truly belongs to digital where all other forms of communications will be created to support a digital campaign.

Unthinkable! But probably a welcome change, only if it lasts strictly for 24 hours.
Did we just share that?
Recently, we came across a reputed FMCG brand’s website (we were trying to pitch) and we noticed that their brand website was already hacked. When we brought this to the notice of the concerned people in the team over a call, we were informed that they knew it and it was hacked 6 months back but they are too occupied to handle that. BTW, did we just mention that now the consumers accessing their site are linked to a malicious website from Jakarta selling fake watches?
