Influencers are not just for brands. Here’s why...
If you think influencers are important just to brands; you couldn’t be more wrong. These are the blokes who keep you entertained, updated, and inspired; to get more of the right content on your timeline, you need to spot the right influencers. And here’s how you can do it.

What is that interests you? Food, fashion, travel or decor – find the right people to follow and socially life is sorted.

But don’t search for influencers. Search for the right keywords instead and figure out users who actively speak about these topics. Go through the kind of content they put up. Does it match with your taste? If yes, you’ve found your match. Well, most likely found your match.

Also, make sure you check the depth of content they post. Merely posting a picture of cupboard they saw doesn’t make them a decor influencer. Their views on it, with inputs on how that cupboard can light up your life – these are the little things that make a difference.

It also wouldn’t hurt to check if their content is copied or authentic. If it is copied, you would rather follow the original source.

If you’re just looking at staying abreast – consuming content is enough; but if you’re looking for DIYs, inspiration, and more, interact with them. See how often they reply, and how much it helps. Anyone with a good following is not an influencer; the one with great inspiration is!

Once you’ve found the influencer that manages to cater to all that you’re looking for, go ahead and spread the word. These influencers are working hard and the least you could do is get them some decent following.
