About the Platform.

GoKrazee is a platform that connects users and brands through gamified selfie & video challenges making it fun, interactive and rewarding for a user and a brand (just like the ice bucket challenge). Let me give you an example of a challenge set by our brand conditions) and get Rs 10 free recharge on completion of every challenge. We are 5 crazy guys who hate ads and want to make life crazy, exciting and rewarding.

Whom do we cater to?

Millennials, our very own college students, the crazy one’s and anybody who is up for a challenge.

What do we offer to our consumers? Why?

Why freakin run behind discounted coupons? Just Selfie le le yaar and get free brand offers from Flipkart, Amazon, Inox, & Café coffee day (most of the time there are no terms & conditions). Oh, forgot to mention the free recharge that we provide with every challenge. Every day craziness is rewarded… Yes, every day!!!

What motivated us to start up?

It started with the F-word used by my nephew while watching a YouTube video and noticed these foot soldiers popping up every 180 to 240 seconds. That got me curious and I started thinking isn’t there any better way to connect users and brands.What’s in a name?

Same old story of a bunch of guys going out for a drink and the guy with the idea says I have an idea and everybody around him says are you freakin crazy… Driving back home this guy starts thinking Am I crazy and there it was GoKrazee with a twist to craziness.

How do we see Social Media?

65% of the people creating and consuming content fall in the 15 to 30 age bracket. They believe in everything that is short and simple just like a short video and pictures. We are moving towards the world that only talks the language of pictures and short videos. Who has the time to sit and watch a video for 4 mins or 5 mins.

Currently we are…

We launched on Feb 5th, 2016 for a select group of college students to iron out any bugs and issues and are now open to the world. We have more than 10000 challenges within the app and every challenge is rewarded. We have just started our marketing campaign

Our biggest challenge was..

Finding the right team is one of the biggest challenges and we are always on the lookout. We pivoted from our original idea twice before we finally landed on what we really wanted to do and how we wanted to do it.

Our What The **** Moment

Our what the ***** moment was when we launched our first version of the app. We did everything apart from loading the app into the play store. After about 4 hours we realized that it wasn’t on the play store. At that time, we were after each other’s throat, but looking back, you know these things happen.

Industry as we foresee

Indian social media has matured over the last 3 years. Social media will become more meaningful, you will see a lot of short videos and pictures in every single social media platform. There will be less text more expressions.
