S.P.A.G., a specialized Public Relations, Public Affairs and Digital Marketing consultancy announced the acquisition of Giga Health; a healthcare focused digital marketing and social media agency.
The brand will continue to operate as Giga Health under the aegis of the S.P.A.G. group. The move will help S.P.A.G. build on expertise, further expand the service offerings and strengthen its presence in the fast evolving pharmaceutical, med-tech and healthcare sector.
S.P.A.G. recognizes the huge opportunities that exist on the digital platforms for pharmaceutical and med-tech companies in India – both multi-nationals as well as domestic. Companies are acknowledging the need to spend more on digital marketing and social media. This has fueled growth prospects for marketers in the pharmaceutical, med – tech and healthcare sectors. It offers specialized marketing communications services by integrating technology, medical sciences and communications.
Founded by Abhijit Shitut in 2015, Giga Health plans, creates, builds and measures digital brand-building solutions for healthcare clients. Giga Health’s services include digital consulting, social media strategy and content marketing solutions.

Abhijit has spent around two decades in healthcare communications. He has been previously associated with Publicis Health where he spearheaded Digitas Health’s Mumbai office.
